Dr. Douglas Ellenor is Chairman of the Board at Christian Children’s Fund of Canada. Dr. Ellenor has some 39 years experience in the petroleum exploration and production industry, having spent 25 of those on international assignments with the Royal/Dutch Shell Group in Australasia, Europe and North and South America.

A commitment to global justice based on Christian principles (Micah 6:8 To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God) drives Jim Carrie in his leadership role guiding CCFC’s six country offices. Through extensive travels to Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Nicaragua and Paraguay, Jim has been strongly focused on improving the quality of our program design and social impact, and increasing resources through a successful grant strategy.

VICE-PRESIDENT, FINANCE AND CORPORATE SERVICES
As Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services at CCFC Jeff Hogan maintains the financial strength of the organization – its assets, resources, and fund flow management to meet current and future aspirations. His role extends to achieving the social impact for the children and families we serve, and also leading staff as fundraising ambassadors for the charity. Jeff is also active in the non-profit sector through volunteering on various boards and committees.

After more than 30 years of human resources experience in the for-profit sector, Jessie Morrison joined Christian Children’s Fund of Canada, “in order to satisfy my deep desire to work for an organization that is seeking to change the world.”

Vice-President, Fund Development and Communications
Terry serves as Vice President, Fund Development and Communications for Christian Children’s Fund of Canada. He is the senior executive responsible for all domestic marketing, fund development, communications and public relations strategies and operations. He is also the executive lead on three strategic priorities – brand revitalization, digital transformation and growing and diversifying our revenue streams in order to increase our global social impact.

Sebastian Spio-Garbrah was elected to the Board of Directors of CCFC in June 2015. He has been adjudged one of the world’s leading frontier markets analysts, and voted among the ‘Top 30 under 30 Analysts’ by New York’s Institutional Investor Magazine in 2006.

Michele McKenzie was appointed to the Christian Children’s Fund of Canada Board of Directors in June 2012. Today she acts as Secretary to the Board and member of the Governance Committee. The Principal of Waverley, N.S.-based management consulting firm McKenzie Strategies, has worked for clients such as The Trans Canada Trail and Tourism Nova Scotia.

Dr. Robert G. Blunden
Past Chair, Christian Children's Fund of Canada (CCFC) Board of Directors
Dr. Robert Blunden served as the last Chair of the Christian Children's Fund of Canada's Board of Directors. He served as Vice Chair from 2010 to 2011 and Treasurer from 2005-2010. Currently he is Chair of the Nominating Committee.

Director, Christian Children's Fund of Canada (CCFC) Board of Directors
Dr. John Dirks was appointed to the Board of Directors since June 11, 2012 and currently is a member of the Nominating Committee. Dr. John Dirks received his MD from the University of Manitoba (1957) and a Fellowship in Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians (1963). He trained in nephrology research at the NIH (1963-1965), and held an MRC Canada grant (1965-1987) for his work in renal pathophysiology.

Donna Alteen was appointed to the Christian Children’s Fund of Canada Board of Directors in June 2011 and is a member of the Marketing Committee. She began her career in 1984 where she worked in Account Services with leading agencies servicing clients such as Newfoundland Tourism, The Dairy Farmers of Canada and RJR MacDonald.

Karen Fonseth joined the Christian Children's Fund of Canada's Board of Directors in June 2016. Fonseth's career has been dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults both nationally and globally over the past 25 years at a senior executive level.

Paul Newbigging joined the Christian Children’s Fund of Canada’s Board of Directors in October 1997 and served as Chair of the Board from 2001 to 2011. He is a member of the Nominating Committee.
Gabriel Ollivier
Director, Christian Children's Fund of Canada (CCFC) Board of Directors
Gabriel Ollivier was elected to the Board of Directors of CCFC in December 2014. Currently he is the Treasurer and Member of the Marketing Committee. His 25-year career has been spent in Canada’s oil and gas industry and the Canadian capital markets. He is currently the President of Equus Energy Advisors Inc., a consulting practice that focuses on assisting international oil and gas companies on various matters of business, ranging from strategy to economic and technical evaluation, government and partner relations, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations.

Mark was elected to the Board of Directors of CCFC in September 2015. He is General Counsel at Infusion, a global software development firm with offices in five countries. He developed a department capable of handling a cross-section of complex legal matters that come with serving Infusion’s international offices.
