How Sponsorship Works

Through Christian Children's Fund of Canada, child sponsorship is a simple, cost-effective and results-driven way for Canadians to make a difference in the lives of children-in-need, their families and communities around the world.

Our philosophy is simple: connect a Canadian who wants to help, with one child who needs help. Here's how it works:

  1. Go to the Sponsor Now page and choose a boy or girl you want to sponsor.
  2. CCFC uses your donation of $35 per month to provide your sponsored child with what he/she needs to grow healthy and thrive. Your sponsorship gifts will provide access to: education, nourishing meals, clean water, medical care and training opportunities.
  3. Your monthly contribution will be combined with those of other sponsors whose children are enrolled in the same area to maximize the impact of your donation community-wide.
  4. You can write to your child any time. It's not a requirement, but special letters to sponsored children can boost self-esteem
  5. Regular updates about your child let you monitor his/her progress.
  6. Visits are welcome! CCFC staff will arrange your visit with your sponsored child.

Annual Child Progress Report

Christian Children's Fund of Canada, a non-profit organization, is one of the most accountable and transparent Canadian charities.

As responsible stewards of your donations, we work closely with our expert community partners to monitor and report the progress of your sponsored child, his/her family, and community.

Each year we will provide you with your child's progress report, showing you exactly how your dollars have helped your sponsored child. You will receive a minimum of one child progress report per year.
