Share the joy of being a CCFC supporter with your church family and help your congregation discover the rewarding experience of bringing hope to children and families in need around the world.

We will provide all the resources you need. All you’ll need to do is speak straight from your heart about what your sponsored child has meant to you, and how his or her life is being changed through your support.

Here is an overview of how your church can involve your members. Select a few ideas and incorporate them into your annual plans:

Prayer

Explore ways to incorporate prayer for children-in-need into your church life and ongoing meetings.

Church Groups

Involve a variety of groups in CCFC’s mission - cell, women’s, men’s, missions’ outreach, youth or seniors’. Consider sponsoring a child or funding a small project such as Equipping an Early Childhood Education Center or building a Well or Rain Water Harvest Tank.

CCFC Sunday

Reserve a Sunday to focus on the needs of girls and boys around the world, who live in extreme poverty.  CCFC will supply you with a PowerPoint, DVD and speaking notes to equip you to share.  Consider a church lunch with a global food theme and take up a special offering towards the work of CCFC.  Ask CCFC to send child packages for members to sponsor.

Vacation Bible School & Sunday School Lessons

Include our lesson packs in your plans and involve the children in a fundraiser, as they learn powerful lessons about sharing God’s love with children in need around the world.

Seasonal Celebrations

At Christmas encourage your church family to include boys and girls-in-need in your celebrations by giving gifts through our catalogue.  Our fun “Easter Gifts of Hope” event is a great way to teach children about sharing our blessings with others.

Fundraising Events

From youth car washes to movie nights, the ways to have fun while raising money for CCFC’s development projects are endless. Ask about our Child Advocate materials for fresh ideas and meaningful ways to involve your church.
